戦略？Strategy?
僕は店員の態度などで嫌な思いをしても
それをあまりブログやメルマガに書きたくない。
なぜなら、そういう人達がいっぱいいて当たり前だと思うから。
If I met bad behavior shopkeeper or weightless,
I don’t wanna post about it.
Because it’s just one of those things.
It’s normal I think.
だからこそ
いい思いをしたときに
すごく目立つ。
So when I met good ones,
I am moved by them.
パスタ屋や歯医者など
いいなって思うことを書いて来た。
Since then, I wrote about good things of Italian restaurant and dentist…
でも、今日はいい悪いとかじゃなくて
その接客が戦略だとしたら間違ってるかも
っていう店に出会った。
But today I wanna post this.
I met the shopkeeper who maybe wrong about what he runs that store.
ラーメン屋。
Ramen store.
昼11：30頃だったから、まだ空いていた。
自分が入ったときは誰もいなかった。
It was only 11:30 PM, so the store was not crowded.
When I was at the store, I was the first customer.
そして好きな席に座ろうとしたら、
店のマスターは「こちらにお座りください」
と言う。
Then I was going to sit the one I’d like.
But shopkeeper told me that “Please sit there.”
これは戦略だな。と思ったけど言う通りにした。
I thought it was strategy but I did as he told.
次の客が来る。
「こちらに詰めてお座りください」
And next customer came in,
then the shopkeeper told him “Please sit next to him(me).”
なんで二人しかいないのに男客同士くっついて座る必要があるのか？
Why does the shopkeeper makes him sit next to me?
There were only 2 people!
60代くらいの夫婦が入って来た。
当然奥に座ろうとする。
And then, 60’s couple came in,
They was going to sit the one they’d like.
カップルくらい好きな席に座らせるのかなと思ったら
「こちらに詰めてお座りください」
I thought the shopkeeper said to them “please sit anywhere you like.” but it was different.
He said “Please sit there.”
たぶん、そのうちクレーム来るよ。
しかもそれ、戦略だとしても
俺達は二度と来ないよ。
Maybe he’ll get the claims or something.
And besides, he thought it was strategy, we won’t go here anymore.
