If your machine can’t read DVD
when you install or upgrade software,
first, try twice anyway.
second, make a image disk and double click it to install.
apparently, the kind of my MacBook pro’s super disk is wrong.
already two or three years ago, even CD-R, this machine cannot read.
but problem is the time to upgrading software using DVD.
Yesterday I faced these problems.
As a matter of fact, I was going to install to upgrade snow leopard and logic pro.
Snow Leopard:
First time, when it was almost completely installed, DVD was ejected.
but I tried once again, then successfully installed!
Logic Studio:
Woo…I had a lot of troubles about it.
I got failed installed twice!
but I realized that problem was Jampack 2 disk.
because I tried to make it’s disk image, but I couldn’t.
So I thought the problem was not my DVD slot.
Maybe I got a wrong disk.
I think I should call Apple store about it.
