昨日、親友から電話が来た。
「clay今、音楽活動どうなってんだよ？」
「今は、clayって入れてもエスエヌって入れても検索されないんだけど．．．」
自分は、こう答えた。
今は普通の人から見れば
音楽活動とは別の活動をやっていて
でも、それは今後の音楽活動に絶対に必要なことなんだ。
自分は1999年にYellow Songsというミニアルバムを出した後
2004年の3月までユニット以外の活動をしていなかった。
その時期に色々な人から
同じようなことを言われてたけど
自分は黙っていた。
たぶん、一生懸命説明しても伝わらないと思ったから。
その間、何をやってたかというと
メルマガにも書いたけど
コンピュータで音楽を作るということを必死になって覚えていた。
そして
それまで否定していた理論をジャズの視点から学んでいた。
そして
自分の音楽技術を毎日磨いていた。
自分には、今後の自分にとって必要なことを
活動を犠牲にしてまでもしなきゃいけない時が何度かあると
思っています。
ただ、そのすべては音楽につながっていることを
感じてもらうべく頑張っています。
ものすごく簡単に言えば
「今のままじゃ絶対ダメなんだ」
だから変えるための行動をしています。
そして
それ以外何もやらずに
集中しています。

My close friend called me last night.
He said
“What’s wrong with your music activities?”
“What’s more, I searched with clay and S/N, but I couldn’t find them!”
Oh, calm down my friend ^^;
I repled
“I’ve been doing another activities but they are really imported for my future ones.”
“Definitely need them!”
I’ve hadn’t had live and making songs between 1999 and 2004, except Unit activity, unit called “SYNC.”
And the people who like my music said to me like he did.
But I did nothing to say.
Because I thought everybody couldn’t feel my thoughts.
During that time, what I did was, as I mentioned my ezine,
that I learned making music by computer.
Study jazz theories.
And I trained my music instruments’ skills.
Especially, learning computer music was really important thing.
Because I’ve never touched computer before.
So I didn’t know about PC at all.
But it’s really important to me!
I think there were times when I concentrated some important things even if I sercrificed my activities of music.
And now, it’s time to do them.
All of my activities are for my music.
Strictly speaking,
I won’t get nothing without them.
And now, I concentrate it.
